Heyo, I’m Lauren. But a lot of people call me Lo because let’s be honest, you already know seven other Laurens.

I thrive in beautiful aesthetics, create beautiful works via various mediums, and chase all things good, true, and beautiful in the world. I’m not a ‘starving artist’ or a ‘tortured artist’—I do find solace in genuine melancholy. But am somehow also, endlessly hopeful.

I started writing songs when I was pretty young. Some for my church to sing in our corporate gathering, and other fun, melancholics music under the name Opelika.

I’ve been designing digitally since I was 16, which is why I decided to earn a bachelors degree in design. I did earn a couple of fancy Addy Awards during that time, but I still think I’ve learned about 100% more about graphic design outside of a school setting.

I picked up web design, photography, cinematography, I’ve even designed interior spaces, participated in fine art festivals, and still write and release music as often as I can. (Although that’s been on pause for a little while since having a couple of kids.)

I think a variety of interests makes for an interesting life.

Thanks for reading.
